Information Technology Services Advisory Committee (ITSAC)
Charge
The Information Technology Services Advisory Committee (ITSAC) advises the Vice Provost for Information Technology & CIO on the IT services provided to the university community by Information Technology Services. Its deliberations are informed by advice from the respective administrative units, with clear accounting for all advisory committee recommendations and commentary. The committee's primary roles include:
- Make recommendations on the levels of IT services and their costs
- Review the budget of Information Technology Services to ensure that the services provided to the universityare being carried out effectively and efficiently
- Provide advice and input to the Vice Provost for Information Technology & CIO regarding the annual preparation and presentation of the Information Technology Services budget to the University Budget Advisory Committee.
The composition of the ITSAC is designed to include representation of administrators, faculty, staff, and student leaders to ensure that a university-wide perspective informs its work.
Activity
The committee meets on a monthly basis.
