Business and Finance Advisory Committee
Charge
The Business and Finance Budget Advisory Committee advises the Vice President for Business and Finance on a broad range of business and finance functions. Its deliberations are informed by advice from the respective administrative and support units. The Committee's primary roles include:
- Make recommendations, with commentary as appropriate, on the annual distribution of revenues, reductions, and allocation changes
- Identify and/or prioritize long-range business and finance initiatives within the Resource Management Model
- Review the budget of the Vice President for Business and Finance on a regular basis to ensure that these administrative and support functions are being carried out effectively and efficiently
- Provide advice and input regarding the annual preparation and presentation of a set of budget recommendations to the University Budget Advisory Committee
