Maintenance Improvement Committee

Charge

 

The Maintenance Improvement Committee (MIC) is responsible for the approval of maintenance, repair and improvement projects greater than $50,000 for general education fund facilities. The projects are funded from the Capital Renewal program in the annual Facilities Planning and Management Department (FPM) legislative budget and the Overhead Use Facilities program of the Senior Vice President for Operations and Finance. Funding for projects is limited so the MIC is charged with setting annual priorities for projects which are executed by FPM. FPM provides staff support for the MIC.

 

Activity

MIC meets on a quarterly schedule throughout the year.
